Hailed by critics as one of the best titles in the Final Fantasy franchise, Final Fantasy IV makes its DS debut as an updated version of the original Super Famicom game. Heroes and villains are now rendered in 3D, and the storyline is told through cinematic cut-scenes enhanced with voice acting. As you guide the dark knight Cecil on a quest for redemption in the mysterious Valley of Mist, you'll confront monsters through an "active time" battle system designed to heighten the group-oriented action. Several gameplay changes have been included as well, such as party member Rydia's ability to create a summoned monster to fight in her stead.
