Uncharted 2: Among Thieves allows players to take control ofNathan Drake and embark on a journey that will push him to hisphysical emotional and intellectual limits to discover the realtruth behind the lost fleet of Marco Polo and the legendaryHimalayan valley of Shambhala. Introduction of new traversal andfree-climbing mechanics allow Drake to navigate through theenvironments more fluidly and naturally. Unrestricted combatallows players to take an aggressive or stealthy approach tocombat. Free-flowing traversal gunplay allows the player toengage in combat from any position in the environment even whileclimbing and hanging. Competitive multiplayer gameplay includesup to 10 players in heroes-versus-villains matches or up tothree players can work together in cooperative modes toaccomplish set objectives with increasing difficulty and againstspecial enemy characters.
